Family & Children’s Council has a program called Parent to Parent, which offers volunteers who can come to your home.  Being involved with the Parent to Parent Program offers these benefits:

• Find answers to important parenting questions
• Have someone listen to your concerns
• Have someone share your joys
• Gain a friend who understands what it is like to be a new parent

YOU ALSO GET A FREE GIFT!

A Parent to Parent Volunteer can be especially helpful when you are faced with any of the following:

• This is your first baby
• You do not have family that can offer you support
• There is a big age difference between your new baby and your older children
• You are a single parent
• You are under stress from other problems such as divorce or financial difficulties
• You would like someone available in case you have questions
