Parenting is a journey that leads us down many paths. Some of those paths are joyous, fun, and bring our families closer together, and other paths are challenging, confusing, and sometimes heart-breaking. This resource directory is created annually to help families along the journey, no matter which path you are currently on. The “What’s Where in Parenting” Directory is filled with resources available to families in the Black Hawk County area, and is available to all families regardless of race, income, educational, or socioeconomic level. All of the resources listed are free or low cost, and are offered at numerous locations. Please contact the Family & Children’s Council at 234-7600 if you would like additional copies of the directory. As the “What’s Where in Parenting” is updated annually, we are interested in hearing from you if you notice resources which should be listed in the upcoming edition. Also, we ask that you recycle any old copies you might have. Thank you! The Family & Children’s Council is pleased to present the twenty-third edition of “What’s Where in Parenting” to the Cedar Valley. We hope this information will be helpful to you as we all travel together on this incredible journey of parenting!
